It works well with Shopify, helping us organize inventory, order status, and inbound products. It tracks multiple shipping locations and helps manage stock issues. However, it doesn’t have an easy way to tag items as damaged or on hold. You can use locations for this, but the standard package only allows three, which we need for our warehouses.

Excellent Integration and Support
We’ve been using Katana Cloud Inventory for the past six months, and it’s been a game-changer. The integration with our existing systems was seamless, and the customer support team has been incredibly responsive and helpful. The detailed reporting features help us make informed decisions and optimize our inventory levels. It’s worth every penny!

The Katana MRP interface is user-friendly, with a logical step-by-step process and integrated help features that make navigation smooth. Access to the knowledge base is excellent, and the support team is both efficient and responsive. However, I’ve encountered several bugs that, although promptly addressed, do disrupt project workflows and daily tasks. Additionally, the margins and cost information can be unreliable and challenging to interpret when trying to identify errors.

It’s incredibly easy to use! Tracking materials on hand and reordering is a breeze. The margin calculations, including labor costs, are spot on. Xero integration works flawlessly, and the Zapier integration adds a lot of flexibility for automation. There are so many great features… it’s truly an excellent product and a standout in a generally clunky space. However, it can be a little slow at times, and the contact syncing could be more robust.

Katana’s awesome, full stop. I’ve been working with manufacturing businesses for years, and for years I’ve lamented Xero’s relatively weak inventory management system.
